minukalkulaator.ee is a free Estonian calculator portal with 49 calculators in one place: salary and taxes, benefits, loans and leasing, saving and investing, health and pregnancy, maths, physics and unit conversions. Every calculator works in Estonian, Russian and English and needs no registration.

The portal is built and maintained by Enternet OÜ, an Estonian web studio. We made it because we deal with salaries, benefits and loans ourselves and kept running into calculators with outdated rates, no explanation of the calculation, or more ads than content. Our goal is a transparent result: you see the formula, the rates used and at least one worked example.

How the content is produced. The rates behind the tax and benefit calculators (22% income tax, 33% social tax, basic exemption, unemployment insurance, 24% VAT, parental benefit limits and so on) live in a single year-by-year data file checked against official sources: the Tax and Customs Board (EMTA), the Social Insurance Board, the Health Insurance Fund, the Unemployment Insurance Fund, Eesti Pank and the Transport Administration. Every tax calculator page lists its sources and the date it was last updated.

When the law changes, we update the data file first and then the explanations and guides that go with each calculator. The salary calculator also lets you pick an earlier year (2023-2026) so you can see how the changes affected your net pay.

Besides calculators we write guides (the Guides section) that explain topics in depth: gross vs net salary, the basic exemption, holiday pay and sick pay, parental benefit, losing your job, VAT, loan interest and the car tax. The worked examples in the guides are produced with the same calculation engines as the calculators.

Estimate-type calculators (for example pregnancy due date, ovulation, blood alcohol content, or holiday pay where the exact amount depends on your pay history) are clearly labelled on the page. Health calculators rely on widely accepted methods and do not replace advice from a doctor or midwife.

The portal is for information only and does not replace an accountant, a lawyer or a decision by a public authority. If you spot a mistake, an outdated rate or want a new calculator, write to us via the contact page - we review every message and fixes usually reach the site within a few days.
